A Medieval Spindle Whorl (reverse)
Description
English: An incomplete lead or pewter spindle whorl dating to the Medieval period (c. AD 1000-1500). The spindle whorl is circular in plan, plano-convex in section and has a circular central piercing. Roughly half of the spindle whorl remains. The whorl is well worn and is light in colour, with a light brown soil staining covering its surface.

The overall dimensions are as follows: 31mm in length, 11mm in width and 22.09g in weight.
