Title
A Medieval D shaped buckle frame.
Description
English: A late medieval copper alloy D-shaped buckle frame dating from the late thirteenth to early sixteenth century. The outside edge of the frame is decorated with a moulded collared knop, The inside edge of the frame is offset and recessed. On both sides of the frame there is a single ridge towards the inside edge. The pin is missing. The buckle frame had a mid brown patina.
