A Medieval Buckle
Description
English: An incomplete copper alloy buckle dating to the Medieval period (c. AD 1350 - 1450). The remains of the buckle consist of half of a single looped oval frame with a pointed knop on the outer edge. On the opposite side of the loop one arm of an integral forked spacer extends terminating in a worn break. The pin is also missing. The metal has a dark green patina and is worn.

The overall dimensions are as follows: 38mm long, 22mm wide, 3mm thick and weighs 3.66g.
