Summary
[edit]DescriptionA Liverpool Bus at Pier Head - geograph.org.uk - 3105585.jpg |
English: Taken in October 1969, this photo shows L770 (FKF 770D) a 1966 Leyland Atlantean with Metro-Cammell 78-seater bodywork outside the Royal Liver Building at Pier Head. This vehicle was one of 180 such vehicles delivered to Liverpool Corporation Passenger Transport during 1966/67 and is about to depart on route 14C to Croxteth via Breck Road and Norris Green. This bus route replaced the tram route 14 to Utting Avenue East on the 6th November 1955. Arriva North West and Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire now operate this route under a bus partnership scheme. The postcode of the Royal Liver Building is L3 1HT. |
