English: Lebanese teacher, Nathalie Jaber, helps a Syrian student in a school in the Zaatari refugee camp, Jordan. Nathalie is one of a group of Lebanese, British and Jordanian teachers who visited the camp just ahead of the 4th anniversary of the start of the conflict in Syria, as part of an initiative run by the British Council with funding from the Department for International Development.
The British Council's Connecting Classrooms scheme is helping British schools develop parnterships with Jordanian and Lebanese schools, to help provide support on a range of issues such as specially tailored teaching and learning resources to show schoolchildren in the UK the impact of the Syria crisis; Syrian, Lebanese and British children sharing their experiences through Skype and letter writing; and opportunities for teachers to share ideas, lesson plans and to work on joint projects together.
العربية: مدرسة لبنانية، ناتالي جابر، تساعد طالبة سورية في مدرسة في مخيم الزعتري للاجئين، الأردن. ناتالي هي واحدة من مجموعة من المعلمين اللبنانيين والبريطانيين والأردنيين الذين زاروا المخيم قبيل الذكرى السنوية الرابعة لبدء الصراع في سوريا ، كجزء من مبادرة يديرها المجلس البريطاني بتمويل من وزارة التنمية الدولية .
يساعد برنامج ربط الفصول الدراسية التابع للمجلس الثقافي البريطاني المدارس البريطانية على تطوير علاقات شراكة مع المدارس الأردنية واللبنانية ، للمساعدة في تقديم الدعم في مجموعة من القضايا مثل موارد التعليم والتعلم المصممة خصيصًا لتعليم أطفال المدارس في المملكة المتحدة تأثير الأزمة السورية ؛ أطفال سوريون ولبنانيون وبريطانيون يشاركون تجاربهم عبر سكايب وكتابة الرسائل؛ وفرص للمعلمين لتبادل الأفكار وخطط الدرس والعمل على المشاريع المشتركة معا |
