Description

Sighted a family of 4 Swallows - 3 adults and 1 parent - suppose its the mother. The chicks were learning to fly and this one was the most active learner. All of them were on a low hanging wire. The one in this picture tried to fly several times flapping its wings, but couldn't fly. After a few fails, it lost the footing and had to come down to this fence. The other two chicks were just perched and at times would stretch their wings. The mom fed them a couple of times much to our delight.

We had little space to maneuver and the light was a bit harsh. But we had a good view of the action, so did the best we could do.
