Summary

[edit]
Description

This one is much smaller than the adults that we normally see though the size is not that evident in the picture. The bird was briefly singing while looking for potential partners around I suppose. The area had none though as it was too close to the village road.

Jungle Prinia's are warblers that are very similar to the more common Plain prinias. There are few differences such as the much larger size, and a black beak in breeding plumage. The birds are common to areas with lots of canopy in the countryside.

Thanks in advance for your views and feedback.
