(8188175962).jpg | PHILIPPINE SEA (Nov. 13, 2012) A Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force SH-60J Sea Hawk helicopter lands aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS McCampbell (DDG 85) during a maritime exercise designed to improve interoperability and further relations between the nations. McCampbell is part of the George Washington Carrier Strike Group, the U.S. Navy's only continuously forward-deployed carrier strike group, based out of Yokosuka, Japan, and is conducting a routine western Pacific patrol in support of regional security and stability of the vital Asia-Pacific region.
