Summary

[edit]
Description
English: In this second photo, you can see a group of children seated next to a heap of soya bean husks. Usually, when women are doing this kind of work, young children are not left out but are given little tasks to do, small tasks that they can manage, like gathering the husks and separating it away from the purified seeds. It is during this kind of work that women get the chance to teach young children to embrace work and in most times the children do the work very playfully and with a lot of excitement because they actually enjoy doing this kind of work. These children end up playing hide and seek in the husks or even using it as a trampoline to jump up and down. At the end of the day, they will be asked to burn the husks. This is usually around 6-7pm when the weather has become cool. At around this time, the children will shower, and come gather around the evening fire, for the last taste of warmth before sinking into their beds later on and wait for the excitement the next day will bring.
