Description

These birds are found pretty much near every water body in the country. And they are often easy to shoot. But I wanted to shoot with the wings fully spread out. So one day early in the morning I was at the lake positioned well with the light behind me and managed to get this shot. The bird was chased away a Grey Heron who wanted a landing spot. The lake was overflowing and there was little space for any bird to land. There were a few floating debris that could take the weight and the Heron scared this bird away.

Thanks in advance for your views and feedback Much appreciated.
