This is one of George Barris's early custom cars - done in 1952. This custom started out life as a 1947 Hudson Super-6 Convertible. It was chopped, channeled and sectioned, it has a removable hard top, 1952 Hudson Hornet 7X engine, GM 4 speed hydramatic transmission, 1950 Oldsmobile 336 rearend Mr. Barris or "King of the Kustomizers" is the creator of cars such as the Batmobile (Batman the TV series), The Munster Koach (The Musters TV series), The Beverly Hillbillies truck to name just a few. |
