| Description |
English: A Gap and a Gate The gap in the long shelter belt (shown on the 1:25,000 but not the 1:50,000 map) gives access to a ford across the Core Burn, which flows down through the trees from left to right. The gate opens into a very boggy field, and to get dryshod to where I am I had had to clamber along the gate, as the entrance is several inches under water despite a culvert presumably intended to drain it. |
