English: Early in their Operation Enduring Freedom mission, Spcs. Ivan and Brittney Igitol share a father-daughter moment at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan. But five months and about 300 miles later, the family from 1st Battalion, 294th Infantry Regiment, Guam Army National Guard have been separated, serving battle roles in different units. The Igitols originate from Saipan in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. (U.S. Army National Guard photo by Sgt. Eddie Siguenza/Released) |
