Description
English: A Distant View of the New Multi-storey Car Park at Tring Station In the second half of the 20th Century the former goods yard was converted to a car park for the many commuters which use the station. When the main-line was upgraded for faster trains in the early 2000s most of the car park was relocated to the adjacent field (the slightly browner area adjacent to the car park) and the old goods yard was used for engineering works. Once the engineering work was completed a two level car park was built on the goods yards and the temporary car park closed – and was restored to farmland – the final work being completed a few months ago.
