Summary

[edit]
Description

One of the very first birds sighted during the day. It was sitting on the cemented check dam and didn't see it. It flew away and landed on this perch for most of the day. A common eagle found in the forests - the bird is named after its favorite food - serpents. It is a medium size bird of prey and known for its easily remembered call.

The bird was around for most of the day, but we didn't disturb it and explored the rest of the lake area.

Thanks in advance for your views and wonderful feedback. Much appreciated.
