EAST CHINA SEA (Jan. 26, 2012) An aviation boatswain's mate (handling) directs a CH-46E Sea Knight helicopter for takes off from the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6). The Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group, deployed in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility, will take part in amphibious integration training (AIT), certification exercise (CERTEX), and participate in the annual multi-national combined joint training exercise Cobra Gold.
