| Description |
English: A Blondin Tower on Ponc Roller Braich Ponc Roller Braich now ends rather abruptly and as the 'sinc' deepened a Blondin was used to lift and lower wagons to the Roller level. These were railed to and from the foot of the Blondin tower along a tramway laid on a causeway of slate rubble. Lack of maintenance since the quarry closed weakened the causeway leading to a partial collapse. This left part of the railway spanning good mountain air. Charles Blondin might have enjoyed walking across it, but it's certainly a no no unless you happen to have been born with a pair of wings.
