English: A Backwards Glance from the Elephant's Head. Mynydd Mawr is known locally by two other names, Mynydd Grug (Heather Mountain) and Mynydd Eliffant (Elephant Mountain). This is due to its elephantine shape. This photo has been taken from the cairn on elephant's head and looks upwards towards the apex of its back. |
