Summary
[edit]DescriptionA 'Tadpole' at Reading - geograph.org.uk - 530619.jpg |
English: A 'Tadpole' at Reading This was the scene at Reading station in May 1979 with a diesel-electric '3R' unit forming a train to Tonbridge. These units were known to staff as 'tadpoles', because one car was significantly wider than the other two, as can be seen in the picture, where the control trailer, at the near end, is the wide vehicle. |
