Description
English: Kruger was born in Cottbus, in the state of Brandenburg, Germany. There is very little biographical information currently available, but his art education included study under influential Dusseldorf landscapist Albert Flamm. He accompanied Oswald Achenback, brother of Andreas Achenbach, both influential Dusseldorf artists, to Italy several times. Krüger is best known for his landscapes, executed in the Dusseldorf style, which include views of Italy. He exhibited in Berlin.
