CLAY NATIONAL GUARD CENTER, Marietta, Ga., Feb. 10, 2013 – The Army National Guard (ARNG) Aviation Training and Assistance Team (ATAT) conducts 80 assistance visits every year to various ARNG aviation units and facilities across the 54 states and territories. The ARNG ATAT is headquartered in Georgia but draws upon the operational knowledge from 9+ states across the nation to help standardize and share best practices across ARNG aviation units. Chief Warrant Officer 5 Robert Negron, Safety and command support subject matter expert for Georgia’s ATAT serves as the 78th Aviation Troop Command Safety Officer bring his real world experience to his evaluations. “I inspect units to see if they are conducting their programs to standard.
