English: "Photo 16.1 Eric Huyten is filming tourists among the masked dancers, Sangha 1994." Eric Huyten is filming a couple of tourists in front of a group of more than twenty Dogon dancers, men and women, in reed skirts and breast jewelry with Kanaga antelope masks. The horns in the shape of crosses are Lorraine crosses (Croix de Lorraine), taken from the French colonizer. Decorations are made of cowrie shells and baobab fruits. A black and white picture. (Mirrored compared to the book illustration on the internet in the University Leiden Repository p. 246).

Les cornes en forme de croix sont des croix lorraines (Croix de Lorraine), empruntées du colonisateur français. Les décorations sont faites de coquilles de cauris et de fruits de baobab. Eric Huyten filmt een echtpaar toeristen voor een groep van meer dan twintig Dogondansers, mannen en vrouwen, in tenue van rieten rokjes en borstsieraden met antilope kanaga-maskers. De horens in de vorm van kruisen zijn Lotharingse kruisen (Croix de Lorraine), overgenomen van de Franse kolonisator. Versieringen zijn van kaurischelpen en baobabvruchten. Zwart-wit foto.
