Description Apollo 17 Hasselblad image from film magazine 148/NN - Earth, LM Inspection, Orbital.
This photo was used in Figure 4-6 of the Apollo 17 Preliminary Science Report (SP-330, 1973), which has the following caption:
The LM viewed from the CM shortly after the TLI burn and shortly before the docking and extraction of the LM from the SIVB. Brightly reflective material flaked from the spacecraft fills the field of view around the LM. The circular LM upper hatch, used for transfer of crew and equipment from the LM to the CM, is centered in this view.
