The original database describes this as: Description: View of a core sampler on the lunar surface with Lunar sample no. 12055 visible undisturbed before collection. Location was a short distance west of trench site at Head Crater. Ground elapsed time was 5:12:30. Image was taken during the second Extravehicular Activity (EVA 2) of the Apollo 12 mission. Original film magazine was labeled Z,film type was SO-267 (Pluss-XX,high-speed black and white thin base film,ASA 278) taken with an 60mm lens. The Sun angle was low,the approximate camera tilt was Low Oblique and the direction of the tilt was Southeast.
