Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The centerpiece of the efforts of the ISO/IEC JTC1/SC22/WG21 C++ Standards Committee during the 1990s was the "Working Paper", a draft of the proposed standard that included the latest changes that had been agreed upon. The Working Paper was maintained by Andrew Koenig of AT&T Laboratories–Research in Florham Park, New Jersey, and revised, printed, and mailed to committee members between each of the committee's trice-annual meetings. Here seen as one committee member kept it in a three-ring binder in 1997, the draft eventually was approved and became ISO/IEC 14882:1998, also known as C++98.
