Afrikaans: Afbeelding van die Tafelbaai soos uit die fort gesien, met aanduidings van die vlaktelanderye, pragtige weiding en verboude lande, synde vir die Algemene Nederlandse Geoktrooieerde Oos-Indiese Kompanjie in besit geneem deur Jan van Riebeeck, op las van die Edele Here, bestuurders van die gemelde Kompanjie, wat die Fort de Goede Hoop gestig het.

Drawing of the Table Bay if viewed from the fort, with indications of the plains, beautiful pastures and cultivated lands, taken possession of, on behalf of the the General Dutch Chartered East India Company, by Jan van Riebeeck, by order of the Noble Lords, managers of the mentioned Company, who founded the Fort of Good Hope.
