Description
English: Almaty, Kazakhstan. The stone dedicated to Grigoriy Shemyakin, the Hero of the Soviet Union. He was born in 1906 and died in 1973, but the engraved death date is 1941.
Русский: Алма-Ата, Казахстан. Памятный камень, посвящённый панфиловцу Герою Советского Союза Григорию Шемякину, родившемуся в 1906 (по старому стилю) или в 1907 (по новому стилю) году и фактически умершему в 1973 году, но на камне выгравирован год смерти как 1941-ый, так как, по официальной версии, все 28 панфиловцев погибли.
