English: U.S. Air Force loadmasters watch as humanitarian aid for Gaza is airdropped from an Air Mobility Command C-17 Globemaster III from an undisclosed location in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, March 13, 2024. Joint Base Charleston deployed C-17s to further enhance airdrop efforts to deliver humanitarian aid into Gaza. In the Coalition’s effort to support civilians suffering from the hardships of continued conflict in Gaza, the U.S. delivered aid via airdrop to ensure expedited delivery and access to critical aid.
