| Description |
English: Western Australian Government Railways (WAGR) ADK class multiple unit power car no ADK688, and trailer car no ADB778, at Midland railway station, the northeastern terminus of the Midland Line, a suburban commuter railway from Perth. In 1993, following the electrification of Perth's suburban railway network, this pair of vehicles, along with all but one of its sister dmu pairs, was exported from Fremantle Harbour to Auckland, New Zealand, after being purchased by New Zealand Rail Limited for use on that city's suburban railway network. As of 2013, both vehicles were still in service with Auckland Transport in Auckland, under the same fleet numbers. Kodachrome slide converted by Kaiser Baas Photo Maker Pro into a digital image. |
