Description	A U.S. Marine Corps Douglas AD-6 Skyraider from Marine Attack Squadron 331 (VMA-331) "Bumblebees" taxis aboard the aircraft carrier USS Philippine Sea (CVS-47). The carrier offloaded half of its complement of Anti-Submarine Squadron 21 (VS-21) "Lighting Bolts" and Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron 6 (HS-6) "Indians" at the U.S. Naval Station Subic Bay, Philippines. She then embarked 22 Skyraiders of VMA-331 and the Sikorsky HRS of Marine Helicopter Transport Squadron 163 (HMR-163) "Ridge Runners", together with a company of U.S. Marines, for exercises in the South China Sea. Philippine Sea was deployed to the Western Pacific from 13 January to 15 July 1958.
