Description
English: A U.S. Navy Douglas AD-5N Skyraider from All-Weather Attack Squadron 33 (VA(AW)-33) Det.33 "Night Hawks" in flight. VA(AW)-33 Det.33 was assigned to Air Task Group 181 (ATG-181) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid (CVA-11) for a deployment to the North Atlantic from 9 June to 8 August 1958.
135038 was later transferred to the U.S. Air Force and converted to an A-1G. It served with the 4407th Combat Crew Training Squadron and the 602nd Air Commando Squadron. It was then transferred to the South Vietnamese Air Force where it was lost on 13 April 1972.
