Description ACE High Tropospheric scattering dishes, RAF Stenigot. A cold War long-distance communications system from Anchorage to Iceland to Stenigot and then to Turkey. The dishes were cut down after 1989 and lay in these fields until 2021 when all but one were finally cut up by the farmer.
