English: Silver unit of Tasciovanos (20BC - AD10). Oval flan.

Obv: TASC in a rectangular border within circular outer borders. Rev: Horse advancing left with rider holding eliptical sheild on horses flank. Reference: British Iron Age Coins in the British Museum. Plate 53. Fig. 1678.

Tasciovanus was the son of Addedomaros, whom he succeeded c.20BC, and the father of Cunobelin and Epaticcus. He was succeeded by Cunobelin circa AD10.
