Description

Final resting place of the audi a6 I rented for a week while trying to recover my lincoln from storage. A6 was a pretty nice car -- I love the 7 speed transmission, although this one was not quattro, and was pretty stripped for options too. It did comfortably go 230+kph, and handled well. I'd be a lot more likely to buy an S4/RS4 or a TT or an A8L/S8 than an A6, myself.

I left this in Jebel Ali Industrial Park 1, right in front of the Landmark warehouse, and dropped off the keys at the Hertz office, after exchanging cars with my lincoln. Since they didn't run a USD 40000 charge on my credit card, I assume they got it back. Hertz UAE, like all Al Futtaim businesses in UAE, is a cut above the local competition, and while it's not quite up to US standards, it's pretty good.
