| Description |
English: A49 between Leominster and Stockton Cross This section of the very busy A49 has had some updating over the years, but was this week once again in the local papers for safety criticism. Seems that folk living in Hay Lane are getting rear ended as they slow down to turn in to the minor road.
The thing on a stalk is a traffic movement monitor linked to a subscription service that warns of hold ups. There is a helpful cycle path which does not go all the way to Leominster, just as far as the afore mentioned Hay Lane before you are forced back into a game of tick with the artics again. At least you get a few hundred metres of peace here, and there are none of those foul "Cyclist Dismount" signs - yet! |
