Description

Towboat "Cliff Webster" tied off next to barges full of rubble from lock demolition.. . Twin screw towboat "Cliff Webster" (doc. # 606551, length 60 feet, breadth 22 feet, GM 12V-71 diesels [?], 800 hp.). Built in 1979 by Louis G. Ortis Boat Co., Krotz Springs, Louisiana. Originally named "Mike Duffy", owned by M & S Towing, Inc., Cut Off, Louisiana. In 1986, sold to Greater Cincinnati Marine Service, Inc., Newport, Kentucky, and renamed "Cliff Webster". In 2011, firm merged into C & B Marine LLC, Covington, Kentucky, and boat was renamed "Griffin C". Still operating in 2018. . Ohio River mile 606. Louisville, Kentucky.
