Description
English: A/2017 U1 on October 25, 2017 (Weryk). Subsequently redesignated as 1I/2017 U1, is the second known object discovered of interstellar origin [1] the first known astronomical object from an interstellar origin to enter the Solar System at a speed that resulted in a trajectory not orbital (ie. hyperbolic). [2]
