Description
English: A pilot from 354th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron maneuvers an A-10 Thunderbolt II into position behind a 100th Air Refueling Wing KC-135 Stratotanker to receive fuel above Ramstein Air Base, Germany, March 26, 2015. The A-10s deployed from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz. to Germany as part of a theater security package in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve. The Air Force and other services have increased rotational presences in Europe during the past months to reassure NATO allies and partner nations that the United States’ commitment to European security is a priority.
