Towboat "Billy Joe Boling" (doc. # 296549). Crewman waiting to get back on board. At right, sheetpile cells protect the bases of two electrical towers from damage by stray vessels during high water.. (Other cells along the canal are for mooring purposes, with posts (pins) for tying off.). Lift span of L&I Bridge in distance. Ohio River mile 606. Louisville, Kentucky. 18-Apr-1999. File # 99d047.
