תיאור: תל אביב - בית הפגודה
הערות: בית הפגודה בכיכר המלך אלברט, במפגש הרחובות נחמני ומונטיפיורי תל אביב, נבנה בשנת 1925. תוכנן ע"י האדריכל אלכסנדר לוי בשנות ה-20 לבקשת מוריס בלוך, אלמן עשיר שעלה מארצות הברית, בצורת פגודה מזרח-אסייתית. יש בו 21 קשתות, עמודים דוריים ועוד. ב 1935 הותקנה מעלית, שהייתה מהראשונות בארץ ישראל. על ידי מהנדס החשמל יהודה גזונטהייט. בלוך נפטר ב-1943, מצב הבניין התדרדרו והיו תוכניות להריסתו. ב-1995 קנה אותו היזם והקבלן ראובן פלד, כדי לשפצו ומכרו למיליארדר היהודי-שוודי רוברט וייל. השיפוץ החל ב 2000.
