Name: Laying the water line to the 11 points in the Nege
Description: The 11 points are eleven settlements that were established in a large settlement operation in the northern Negev, at the end of Yom Kippur 1946 on the night between October 5 and 6, 1946, at the initiative of the Jewish Agency.

שם: הנחת קו המים ל 11 הנקודות בנגב
תיאור: 11 הנקודות הן אחד-עשר יישובים אשר הוקמו במבצע התיישבות גדול בנגב הצפוני, במוצאי יום הכיפורים בלילה שבין 5 ל-6 באוקטובר 1946, ביוזמת הסוכנות היהודית.
הערות: לעלייה לקרקע קדמה תוכנית מפורטת להנחת שני קווי מים מקידוח באזור ניר-עם אל היישובים החדשים. התוכנית הייתה של מהנדס המים של מקורות - שמחה בלאס שיזם הבאת צינורות באורך 200 ק"מ, שהוצעו למכירה בלונדון, לאחר שבמשך מלחמת העולם השנייה השתמשו בהם להזרמת מים לכיבוי השריפות שנגרמו על ידי התקפות האוויר הגרמניות. כמו כן הובער בחלק מהם דלק כדי לייצר מסכי עשן מעל לעיר ולהסתירה מהטייסים הגרמניים. על מנת לשמור על חשאיות המבצע, עוכבה הנחת הקווים ובפועל התבצעה רק ב-1947.
