הערות: בדצמבר 1917 נערכו מספר צליחות מעל הירקון וביניהן הדיוויזיה ה-52 הסקוטית בפיקוד מייג'ור גנרל ג'ון היל שחצתה את הנחל בשפכו ותפסה את העמדות העות'מאניות מצפונו. היחידות הרחיבו אחיזתם עד שפיים של ימנו. לאחר המלחמה הגנרל היל להחליט להנציח את הצליחה באמצעות עמודי זיכרון שהוצבו בסמוך לכל אחת מנקודות הצליחה. עמודי השיש נלקחו מעתיקות קיסריה, אפולוניה או אשקלון. על העמוד בשפך הירקון נחקקה הכתובת: "בלילה אור לז' טבת התרע"ח עברה הבריגדה 157 של הדיוויזיה ה-52 את המעברה הזאת ולכדה את העמדות התורכיות שממולה".
