תיאור: בית זקס ברחוב מנוחה ונחלה ברחובות
הערות: בית אפרים זקס המפואר נבנה ברחוב מנוחה ונחלה 54 ברחובות ב- 1908. זקס העשיר עלה מארצות הברית אליה היגר מווילנה. בבית נערכו קבלות פנים לאורחים חשובים. אפרים זקס אבי התימנים היה פטרונם של עולי תימן ברחובות ופעל להקמה עבורם את שכונת שעריים. זקס כיהן ב–1924–1930 כראש המועצה המקומית רחובות, הלווה למועצה כסף להקמת רשת צינורות להובלת מים לכל הבתים. בית זקס נמצא ברחוב מנוחה ונחלה, הקרוי ע"ש החברה להתיישבות ממקימות העיר שחבריה שמו להם למטרה להקים בארץ התיישבות יהודית שלא תהיה תלויה בחסדי הברון רוטשילד.
