Description: Beit Josephson, the first house built in Rehovot.

שם: בית יוספזון ברחובות
תיאור: בית יוספזון, הבית הראשון שנבנה ברחובות.
הערות: בית יוספזון הוא הבית הראשון שנבנה ברחובות, ב1890. נבנה על ידי יהודה לייב יוספזון. ממוקם ברחוב יעקב 20. יוספזון הגיע מרוסיה לארץ ישראל ב-1890 ונשלח להתיישב על אדמת דוראן. רכש כמאה דונם אדמה והגיע לרחובות עם קבוצה של תשעה מתיישבים. כל אחד מהמתיישבים קיבל מגרש לבניית ביתו. קירות הבית עשויים מתערובת של חמרה ותבן, ומאבני כורכר, מכוסים בטיח. הגג היה עשוי מרעפים, והחלונות צרים. הבית כלל חדר מגורים מרכזי, שני חדרים קטנים, מטבח, מרתף, מרפסת מקורה ועליית גג. הבית שומר כהלכה ב2022 ובו מסעדת אחוזת מרגו.
