הערות: פסל הלויתן.על פי המסופר בספר יונה, הצטווה יונה הנביא על ידי האל ללכת לנינווה, ולבשר לתושביה כי חטאו לאלוהים. יונה סירב ועלה על אוניה בנמל יפו לכיוון תרשיש. בלב ים פרצה סערה ויונה הבין שזהו עונשו וביקש שישליכוהו לים. בים נבלע יונה על ידי דג גדול ולאחר שהאל מחל לו הוקא יונה ממעי הדג ופנה להינבא בנינוה, כפי שצווה.
