Description: Sderot Yerushalayim is a long boulevard that runs through Jaffa and is a main thoroughfare. In 2023, the boulevard was blessed with its own light rail, the Red Line.

שם: יפו - שדרות ירושלים
תיאור: שדרות ירושלים היא שדרה ארוכה החוצה את יפו ומהווה בה ציר תנועה ראשי. השדרה שרטטה את הגבול בין האזורים החקלאיים במזרח יפו, לבין האזור של "יפו החדשה" במערב העיר שהיה צמוד אל חוף הים. בשנת 2023 התברכה השדרה ברכבת קלה משלה, הקו האדום.
הערות: השדרה הוקמה בשנת 1915 על ידי המושל העותמאני של יפו חסן בק בעיצומה של מלחמת העולם הראשונה, במקביל לרחוב יפת הצר והצפוף שהיה הרחוב הראשי היחידי שחצה את העיר. השדרה הוקמה בבהילות ובכפייה בידי יהודים וערבים אשר נתפסו ברחובות, וגם החומרים לבנייתה נשדדו מן היישוב בכח הזרוע. בזמן המנדט הבריטי הוקמו בשדרה מעגלי תנועה במפגשי הרחובות שהקנו לשדרה מראה אירופאי. במהלך שנותיה מילאה השדרה תפקיד חשוב בהתפתחות העירונית של יפו, , ולאורכה של השדרה מבנים ואתרים שהם נקודות ציון בהיסטוריה העירונית שלה.
