English:
Name: Pillbox for the protection of the railway between
Description: The pillbox is located near the railroad, northeast of the entrance gate of Mekorot Yarkon Park and near the back gate of Tel Apek Park. In 1922, the railroad was established between Rosh Ha'Ein and Jaffa. For the purpose of transporting the citrus fruits from Petach Tikva orchards to the port of Jaffa, the pillbox was established in 1937 for safekeeping.

שם: פילבוקס להגנת מסילת הרכבת בין ראש העין ליפו
תיאור: הפילבוקס ממוקם בסמוך למסילת הברזל , צפונית מזרחית משער הכניסה של פארק מקורות הירקון ובקרבה השער האחורי של פארק תל אפק שנת 1922 הוקמה מסילת הברזל בין ראש העין ליפו. לצורך הובלת פרי ההדר מפרדסי פתח תקווה לנמל יפו הפילבוקס הוקם בשנת 1937 לצורך שמירה.
הערות: כאשר פרץ המרד הערבי בישראל בשנים 1936-39 , נוצר הצורך לאבטח את מסילת הברזל ואת הרכבת שהובילה מטען בעיקר של פרי הדר ונוסעים לאור פרעות ערבי האזור. לצורך כך הוקם הפילבוקס בשנת 1937 כעמדת שמירה על הרכבת ועל הגשר כנגד הפורעים והצוות שאבטח את הרכבת מתוך הפילבוקס , נימנה על מחלקת השמירה על הרכבות במשטרת המנדט P.P.R.D שרוב המשרתים בה היו יהודים. ניתן לראות שבתוך היקיף מבנה הפילבוקס ישנם מספר חררי ירי עבור השומרים ששמרו על המסילה והרכבת וכן 4 דרגשי שינה.
