Name: Motza the Red House
Description: The Red House in Motsa is a building that was originally used as a factory for the production of tiles and bricks in Moshava Motsa. The house was built in 1923 at the initiative of Yehiel Michal Steinberg who purchased the plot of land with the aim of turning it into a vineyard. During the cultivation of the soil he discovered that the soil contains clay that can be used as a quality raw material for the production of bricks

תיאור: הבית האדום במוצא הוא מבנה ששימש במקור כמפעל לייצור רעפים ולבנים במושבה מוצא.הבית הוקם בשנת 1923 ביוזמתו של יחיאל מיכל שטיינברג שרכש את חלקת האדמה במטרה לטעם בה כרם. במהלך עיבוד הקרקע גילה כי האדמה מכילה חרסית שיכולה לשמש חומר גלם איכותי לייצור לבנים
הערות: ורעפים. את המפעל החדש והגדול תכננו האדריכלים-שותפים אליעזר ילין ווילהלם הקר. הודות לחומר הבנייה העיקרי שבאמצעותו נבנה הבניין, לבנים שרופות בגוון אדום, נקרא "הבית האדום". בשנת 1933 העסיק המפעל כ-40 עובדים. מנהל העבודה שלו, פסח פרידמן, הקים בשנות ה-40 של המאה ה-20 את מפעל הקרמיקה "לפיד".במהלך פרעות הערבים בשנת תרפ"ט ותרצ"ו נפגע המפעל אך הפעילות בו המשיכה.tl המצב הכלכלי והביטחוני הלא יציב ששרר בארץ לא הביא להצלחה. ב-1949 נפטר שטיינברג, אך המפעל המשיך בייצור עד 1959 אז נסגר.(ויקיפדיה)
