Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_93556_DSC02149.JPG Notes: בית נבאלא ( נקרא לעיתים בטעות בית נבאללה) היה כפר ערבי שהתקיים בשפלה והיה שייך לנפת רמלה. במלחמת העצמאות, במהלך מבצע דני, כבש צה"ל את הכפר ועל שטחיו הוקמו המושבים בית נחמיה וכפר טרומן.הכפר משמר בשמו את היישוב המקראי נבלט, ששרידים ממנו נתגלו בסמוך לשרידי הכפר. במפקד האוכלוסין העות'מאני משנת 1596 נמנו בכפר 297 תושבים.[בזכות מיקומו האסטרטגי של הכפר בצומת הדרכים מזרח-מערב וצפון-דרום (כיום כביש 444) הקימו שלטונות המנדט מערבית אליו תחנת רכבת ובסיס תובלה, הממשיך לפעול עד היום כבסיס של מרכז ההובלה בצה"ל
