92042 WFBC WEMBLEYYD 726B45CL30 1 * DOLLANDSM N The Barry Docks ABP to Dollands Moor service from Wembley to Dollands Moor on 30 June 2014. When it runs this service is typically hauled by a class 66 from Barry Docks to Wembley where another class 66 or a class 92 takes over for the last part to Dollands Moor. In this case class 92 number 92042 took it on. 2 SNCF-registered NACCO Polybulk covered silicon hoppers were attached behind the intermodal containers mounted on flat wagons (2 per wagon). The NACCO Polybulk hopper on the back was number 37 80 0699 012-1 (also photographed by me on 5 May 2014 at the same location <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/99279135@N05/13929714277/in/photolist-ndVqKx-e3z6LM-d4j5cE-fHnAFA-k4Mde2-31mius-ndCZp6-e23Z6E-gFUXtS-nxbZaF-mBUP5x-awZzvu-bxoy3q-dvRTwt-nvrThw-dyoeHn-nvrRw7-9UhoSP-dy9ndK-8h9P6T-78FaZ8-4zf3FR-cCnwtm-ndVoWH-ndVu5a-nwUs3n-ndVupY-noHxuc-nozfqt-noTUVG-nmXmB9-4g4F3B">www.flickr.com/photos/99279135@N05/13929714277/in/photoli...</a>) The empty hoppers are used to transport silica sand from either Amberieu or Notre Dame-de-Briancon France to Dow Corning's silicon-based materials manufacturing plant at Barry, Wales, where it is used to produce semiconductor silicone polymers.
